LOVE OF LEARNING: My professional aim is to foster a systemic love of learning. This means that students and teachers are engaged, creative, and collaborative. We have a sense of ownership of our learning, and we are able to nimbly apply our experiences to self, home, friends, and community.
PATTERN RECOGNITION: I also work with students and teachers to recognize, describe and influence patterns within the the arts, humanities, and sciences. Pattern recognition, as a form of literacy, helps students and teachers think systemically.
CIVIC STEWARDSHIP: At the core of effective education is advancement of the common good through civic stewardship. Students, teachers, and their families should live in beautiful environments that are green, healthy and sustainable. We can increase our standard of living for all, in the present, without compromising the well-being of our collective future.
