As the global narrative on teaching begins to shift, research shows that investing in high-quality professional learning systems is key to school improvement.
The newly-published Flip the System: Changing Education from the Ground Up features chapters written by members of the CTQ Collaboratory—Rachel Evans and Noah Zeichner, as well as Tim Walker—and CTQ staff—CEO Barnett Berry and Lori Nazareno, along with CTQ consultant Kim Farris-Berg—that explore the role of teacher leaders.
The chapter “Teacher Leadership for a Reinvented Teaching Profession,” which was co-written by Berry, Evans and Zeichner, outlines research that supports the need to advance teacher leadership for a reinvented profession and maps a route to get there. Read more about this chapter in Barnett Berry's blog post.
Flip the System: Changing Education from the Ground Up is published by Routledge and authored by Jelmer Evers and René Kneyber.
