#OneWord2017 #Daily

If I learned anything from 2016 it was that we don’t have a lot of time to waste.

Depending on your preferred metric, in one year we only get 365 days or 8,760 hours or 525,600 minutes. And that’s if we are lucky.

Although I don’t know exactly what 2017 will yield for me, my family, or my country, I know that squandering the days, hours and minutes that I have is unacceptable. Don’t get me wrong, I am actually pretty good at making New Year resolutions. I go at it in the “draft SMART goals, put due dates on the calendar, and set alarms in your phone” kind of way. That usually lasts until about March. Ok, mid-February. But in the wee hours of every December, I am always scheming and planning and figuring out who I want to be in the New Year, and I take the new beginning very seriously.

Recently I went on a walk to get some exercise and I reflected on the “who” I wanted to be in 2017. What came to me was I wanted to do the most important things every single day.  It was that simple and that complicated and I could encapsulate that desire by using #OneWord17. There would be no SMART goals for me in 2017.

One Word is based on the idea that one simple word can impact your life and be applied in mental, physical, emotional, relational, spiritual and financial contexts.

My #OneWord2017 is DAILY.

DAILY partners with me on my life quest to make sure what I believe, do and say are in alignment.

DAILY asks me to question things I don’t understand, remain curious and take steps to learn something new.

DAILY nudges me read the ideas of others and to express my thinking and ideas in various mediums.

DAILY is a light pencil mark on a wall to remind me that my children are growing so I better hold them.

DAILY is worn running shoes, healthy snacks and less and less monitoring on a blood pressure gauge.

DAILY shouts to me that there is injustice and I don’t have to be ok with it or remain silent.

DAILY reminds me that there is something that I can say, do, or give to make this world a better place.

DAILY tells me that on January 3, 2017 we only have 362 days left.

I don’t plan on taking any days off.

Amazing

It is really amazing. Although we have 347 days left and we didn't plan yet for what we have to do in this year.I know what I want and I am gonna achieve this in this year. I am working as a marketing manager of an online writing firm. writing an assignment is not an easy task as people think that's why we help for the student who faced difficulty in their project.
