A+ EDUCATION FOUNDATION
The A+ Education Foundation is dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in public education in Alabama at the K-12 level. It studies all aspects of public education in Alabama and is involved in hands-on efforts to work with and for schools, school systems and individual educators committed to excellence in education.
ALABAMA BEST PRACTICES CENTER
The Best Practices Center was established in mid-1999 by A+ as a public/private partnership to focus on improving student achievement by raising the quality of teaching through professional development.
CHARLOTTE ADVOCATES FOR EDUCATION
Charlotte Advocates for Education is an independent advocate that works to empower the community to improve and ensure quality public education for every child.
COLUMBIA GROUP
In 1995, representatives from business-supported, public policy centers in six southeastern states met in Columbia, SC, to discuss the feasibility of creating a network focused on school reform. The concept struck a responsive chord and, since then, the network has grown and solidified.
DURHAM PUBLIC EDUCATION NETWORK
The Durham Public Education Network is an independent, non-profit organization with the goal of involving the community in supporting and sustaining a high quality system of public education for each and every student.
GEORGIA PARTNERSHIP FOR EXCELLENCE IN EDUCATION
The Georgia Partnership for Excellence in Education is a private, nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that unites leaders from business, education, state government and local communities to improve education in Georgia at both the state and local levels.
MOBILE (AL) AREA EDUCATION FOUNDATION (MAEF)
The Mobile Area Education Foundation is a county-wide partnership of citizens, businesses, the Mobile County Public School System, and public agencies working together to ensure that all the children of Mobile County are given the opportunity to succeed.

PUBLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION (PEF) of Chattanooga, TN
Since 1988, the Public Education Foundation (PEF) has provided expertise, leadership and financial support to build a strong foundation to support the students in Hamilton County public schools. Our mission is simple: help all students to be successful in school. As a local, independent foundation, the PEF is uniquely qualified to provide accurate, unbiased reporting on the progress of our schools.

SOUTHEAST REGIONAL VISION FOR EDUCATION
SERVE is one of the ten regional educational laboratories funded by the Department of Education's Office of Educational Research and Improvement to create an information network across the country. SERVE promotes and supports the continuous improvement of educational opportunities for all learners in the Southeast.
SOUTHERN REGIONAL EDUCATION BOARD (SREB)
SREB assists state leaders by directing attention to key education issues; collecting, compiling and analyzing comparable data; and conducting broad studies and initiating discussions that help states and institutions form long-range plans, actions and policy proposals.

Established in 1983 as a community-based public school advocacy organization, Wake Education Partnership links human and material resources to strengthen public schools.
