CTQ Teacherpreneurs 2011-2015

For the past four years, CTQ has partnered with districts to support a total of 21 teacherpreneur positions. Interest in the roles is strong—60 teachers applied for the 2014-2015 cohort.

Works with teacher leaders on Common Core implementation and connects teacher leaders through virtual collaboration in the CTQ Collaboratory. Previously, a digital learning specialist, technology leader, and English teacher of 22 years.

Sarah Henchey (2012-2013)
Orange County Schools, NC

Supported a growing national network of teacher leaders around teacher-led implementation of the Common Core. Coordinated the Teacher Leaders Circle.

Lori Nazareno (2012-2015)
Denver Public Schools, CO

Helps teachers learn how to redesign their schools to support more effective teaching and learning. Formerly founded the teacher-powered Math and Science Leadership Academy and co-chaired a team that overhauled Denver’s teacher evaluation system.
