Brilliant. If teacher voice is important - and I think we all agree that it is - than student voice is just as important. Teaching kids to think and use their voice to form their learning is the first step in personalized learning. The key is starting the conversation. Be prepard for critical feedback. You may not like what you hear, but it will make you a better teacher.
What a great video! We love what your students have to say. Our coalition that supports expanding learning time is running an awesome student contest. You can check it out here: https://timetosucceed.wufoo.com/forms/its-time/. Maybe your students would be interested in entering individually through art work, videos, or a blog of some sort. Write us at email@example.com if you have any questions!
And keep up the great work - the student voice is SO important!
