Thanks, Megan, for these pictures. Truly, a picture is worth a thousand words. I understand the life of a Teacherpreneur so much more vividly now! Keep those pictures coming.
Holy Awesometeacherness Batman! Wow - I am so in awe of what you managed to accomplish in one year. When I grow up, I want to be you! :)
Clearly, you are able to multi-task and prioritize your attention in a way most people could never imagine - by presenting your year through the pictures and links, you've managed to careen far above and beyond anything I could imagine, that's for sure!
How do you maintain focus through all the different roles you've taken on? I am so absorbed with implementing CCSS this year, I have chosen to limit what I take on (hard for me to do!) outside of my classroom role. What would you recommend as a starting point for educators (like myself) trying to advocate for our profession without leaving the classroom? How did you reach out to policy makers locally, in a way that you were eventually able to have your voice heard at such high levels?
Looking forward to your thoughts on raising educator voices (and now that I know you were a 5th grade teacher, I might be asking for thoughts on 5th grade too!)
Thank you for sharing these awesome moments in history! I feel like I was a part of your journey just by watching the slides. :) As a teacherpreneur this year, trust me, I know that there are some big shoes to fill! You are truly an amazing teacher leader and I am in awe of your impact- from your classroom all the way to the White House! Looking forward to hear what amazing opportunities this year will bring for you. :)
Thanks again, Ali
Wow! This is truly fantastic! I often find myself trying to describe teacherpreneurs to others. While words alone can paint the picture of what it's all about, they still come up a little bit short. What a wonderful tool for all of us to use to share!
Wouldn't it be cool to have one of these that capture all teacherpreneurs everywhere? What a story!
Hope all is wonderful with you as you adjust to a new way of serving children. How lucky these future teachers are to learn from you!
Thanks again for sharing!
What a great way to show off your year! Thanks Megan!
Wow, you accomplished so many things! Thank you for sharing in this format. It was very powerful.
