NEA and NBPTS Collaborate with CTQ on Supporting High-Needs Schools
Over the past two years, the National Education Association and the National Board for Professional Teaching Standards – in collaboration with 7 NEA state affiliates, state education agencies, and the Center for Teaching Quality – have conducted Policy Summits to engage National Board Certified Teachers around supporting and staffing high-needs schools.

This report, prepared by the Center for Teaching Quality for the 2007 National Strategy Forum, presents the state summit outcomes and outlines other insightful initiatives than can inform a national approach to this complex and systemic challenge.
