Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach, Teacher Leadership and Technology Advisor

Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach serves as a technology consultant for the Center for Teaching Quality. Recently she took a leave of absence from her district office position in the Virginia Beach (VA) Public School System to complete her doctorate in educational leadership at The College of William and Mary. A former elementary teacher and school technology coordinator, Sheryl also teaches technology courses to graduate-level preservice teachers. Sheryl is a technology consultant for SRI International, where she supports online seminars using CLTNet and the Elluminate Live learning platform. She has also consulted for the Virginia Community College System, the Virginia Department of Education and the Alabama Best Practices Center. She was an instructor in early childhood education at Valdosta State Univerity (GA) and taught online courses for Connected University from 2000-2003. She has been a Microsoft Certified Trainer and Products Specialist. She is also a Senior Fellow of the Teacher Leaders Network.
