Alice Williams

Alice Williams, Communications and Policy Associate

Alice Williams currently works on communication initiatives and ongoing teacher leadership projects at CTQ. Prior to joining CTQ, Alice worked as a journalist and editor covering several domestic policy arenas including education, affordable housing and mental health care. Alice has also worked in a wide range of educational settings: as a coordinator for an ESL program in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of New York City, a technology teacher in west Philadelphia, a K-12 reading instructor throughout North Carolina, a writing instructor at Duke University and Central Carolina Community College, and an educational director for Sylvan Learning Centers. Alice is a New Jersey native who relocated to North Carolina, where she earned an MA in English literature from Duke University.
