Tim Wilson, Online Communications/IT Manager

Tim Wilson is an IT veteran of 23 years who brings an arsenal of knowledge in providing IT Services, Support, and Customer Service. Tim's resume also includes a background in Advanced Electronics, Manufacturing Robot, Touch screen, and PLC programming for which he was trained during his service in the United States Navy and SONY Electronics.

While serving the in the U.S. Navy, he taught advanced electronics troubleshooting to sailors being prepped for their sea billets as Electronics Technicians who were tasked with maintaining multi-million dollar equipment on U.S. Navy Warships.

After 10 years of service in the U.S. Navy, Tim received an honorable discharge and went to work for SONY Electronics in Rancho Bernardo, California where he programmed manufacturing robots, touch screens, and PLCs (programmable logical circuits).  While serving in the both capacities mentioned, he also served as the Information Systems Security Officer Assistant and the Manufacturing Project Process IT Liaison where he was responsible for reporting issues, repairing, and maintaining network infrastructure, servers, and workstations.

Tim served as the Technical Advisor of the Athlete’s for Education Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping youth help themselves by providing support and mentorship in San Diego, California and was an integral part of the organization’s several donations of computer systems for women and children at women’s shelters in San Diego.

With his extensive technical support background and customer service skills, Tim is known to be extremely easy to work with, believing in doing all he can to ensure customers and team members receive superior service and felt comfortable with asking for help.

Tim quotes, “The dumbest question is the one NOT asked”.  He believes, if you have a question or need help, he was bound to get an answer or assist you with your issue.

Tim is a Brooklyn, New York native, who lived in San Diego, California for 15 years during his naval career and employment at SONY Electronics, prior to returning back to the east coast to reside near Raleigh, North Carolina.

He has held titles at previous IT firms as President/CEO/IT Manager.
