Rachel Rogers, Policy Assistant
Rachel Rogers provides support to a number of projects at CTQ, as well as facilitating communications and operations for President and CEO, Barnett Berry. Rachel recently finished her M.A. in Urban Affairs and Public Policy from the University of Delaware. While at UD, she served as a graduate research assistant with the Center for Community Research and Service. Her primary role was with the Federal Home Loan Bank's Blueprint Communities Initiative, a project devoted to creating sustainable communities through revitalization and leadership development. Prior to attending UD, she served as an AmeriCorps VISTA with the Anchorage Public Library in Anchorage, AK where she acted as a program developer and community organizer. Rachel is a Durham, NC native, has her B.A. in Communications from Elon University, and is an avid fan of college football and basketball. She is most interested in CTQ's efforts to expand the role of teachers outside the classroom to encompass leadership, community development, and outreach.
