Meredith Kohl, Policy Assistant

Meredith is a policy and administrative assistant to the Chief Operating Officer. With five years of classroom experience, she joins CTQ with a specific interest in the Center’s efforts to cultivate and spread teacher expertise to improve teacher effectiveness, working conditions, and retention in high-needs schools. Meredith is a former Teach for America corps member in the Las Vegas Valley where she taught both fourth and fifth grade. She holds a M.Ed. in curriculum and instruction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and a B.A. in global studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara. Most recently, she was a U.S. Fulbright Fellow to Italy where she taught English as a foreign language in Palermo, Sicily.
